I actually did my undergraduate work at Clemson in Pre-Pharmacy!

Growing up, my best friend's Dad was a medical doctor.  He used to let us go with him on House Calls and to the Hospital with him sometimes.  That is when I started thinking about helping others as a career.  He had (and still has) a great reputation as a skilled physician, but it was my chiropractor that got me on track to think about being a doctor of chiropractic.  I liked the fact that chiropractic was more of a natural approach to health care.  read more...


Meet Abbeville Chiropractor Dr. John L. Guy
Dr. John L. Guy

Dr. Guy brings over 40 years of experience in family practice, emergency medicine and bariatric medicine to Abbeville Family Healthcare.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  Both of these were obtained after a four year stint in the United States Navy as an Electronics Technician.  Dr. Guy has practiced medicine in private practice, emergency rooms, and hospitals.  With 40 years of experience, there isn’t much he hasn’t seen.   read more...
