How to handle headaches during pregnancy

During that special time in a woman’s life when she is pregnant, a headache pops up.  She doesn’t want to take medications because she knows that whatever she takes, the baby gets also.  So what to do?

We see many patients for treatment of headaches, and as usual, our approach is a drug-free one.  More and more people are trying to avoid unnecessary drugs whenever possible and pregnant women are at the top of that list.  Headaches are frequently caused by a problem in the neck area and can be treated with safe natural adjustments. Once the spinal joints get back to normal, the nerve irritation subsides and so does the headache.

So if you or anyone you know is suffering with frequent headaches (pregnant or not), have them give us a call and we will be glad to check their spine to see if their headache could be helped with chiropractic care.
